Happy Thanksgiving

We are so blessed, but often forget in our every day "busy-ness" (business) to stop and give thanks for the important things in life.  I hope you enjoy this story as much as I did and thank you for being a part of our lives.

HOW POOR ARE WE?

One day a rich father took his family to the country with the firm purpose of showing his son just how poor people can be.  They spent a day and a night at the farm of a very poor family.  When they got back from their trip the father asked his son, "How was the trip?"

"Very good Dad!" replied the son.

"Did you see how poor people can be?" the father asked.

"Yes I did!"

"And what did you learn?" asked the father.

The son answered, "I saw that we have a dog at home, and they have four.  We have a pool that reaches to the middle of the garden; they have a river that has no end.  We have imported lamps in the garden; they have the stars.  Our patio reaches to the front yard, they have the whole horizon."  When the little boy was finished, his father was speechless.

His son added, "Thanks Dad for showing me how poor we are!"

Our outlook on life depends on the way we look at things.
What we may think of as riches, others may not want.
What are the most important things in your life?
